With a coaching career spanning over two decades, Corie’s journey commenced at the Bahamas National Center of Excellence, where he laid the foundation for his coaching expertise from 2004 to 2008. In 2009, he was appointed as the head coach and goalkeeper coach for the Bahamas National Youth 17 Team. ⭐️In 2011, Corie is the co-founder of the Future Star Football club in the Bahamas. ⭐️In 2014, he ventured into coaching with the Oklahoma-based team @wsalliance, mentoring both local players and emerging young talents. ⭐️From 2019 to 2022, Corie served as the goalkeeper coach for the D1 College ORU Women’s team, contributing his skills and knowledge to the development of their goalkeepers. ⭐️In 2020, Corie was the goalkeeper coach of Side FC, help guiding them to an undefeated regular season and a successful appearance in the National tournament. ⭐️Additionally, in the same year, Corie established the Lion Goalkeeping Academy, where he has been diligently working with top-tier goalkeepers from Oklahoma and Texas. ⭐️Corie boasts an impressive array of certifications, including being FIFA Certified, NCAA Goalkeeper 1 and 2 certified, possessing a National D license, and being well-versed in La Liga methodology. ⚽️👀 Scanning & Decision Making Here is a great exercise we like to use to improve scanning while also working decision making. ℹ️ The Exercise The player in the middle must scan behind them after receiving a pass from pass from the top server. Their decision is made by what they see after one touching the ball back. What an amazing final between two great Oklahoma UPSL Clubs. We were able to get the win vs @sidefc.92 who never gave up and brought the game back to 2-1 with 12 min left to play. In the end we edged past them with goals from @hazardlandy11 and @kb3harris . It was a great team performance and a collective effort to keep chances to a minimum and get the win. We will now turn our focus to the @upslsoccer National Tournament. The round of 32 will start next Saturday July 8th where we will face the Texas Conference Champ in Kansas City.
