My name is Giovanna Mingo, and I from from Paraguay. Currently, I am studying at Ranger College in Texas and playing for Total90 Futbol Academy this summer. Ever since I was a child, I have dreamed of both playing soccer and pursuing my education in the United States. Being here today is the culmination of years of hard work and sacrifice, not only on my part but also from my family.

This dream has always been more significant than myself. My parents have always emphasized the importance of both sports and education. Thanks to soccer, I have the opportunity to study simultaneously, which is quite challenging in my home country. It has also been a journey to reach this point in the United States. Today, I take pride in having the chance to experience this journey while making my family proud.

I arrived in the United States through a sports scholarship program, and I remain engaged with them to support and inspire other young women to pursue a similar path. I want to demonstrate that it is indeed possible to balance academics and sports, and I encourage everyone to never give up on their dreams.

As an international player, one of my most significant challenges is financial. I am currently seeking assistance to help cover essential expenses, such as accommodation, travel, training, transportation, food, and equipment. While I plan to work outside of my training hours to help meet these costs, any sponsorship or donation would greatly alleviate financial stress and enable me to focus more on my development as both a player and an individual.
